PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily preparable body band used for a pet such as a dog and capable of readily controlling the behavior of the pet. SOLUTION: This body band is obtained by folding back one beltlike body 2 at the intermediate part 2b into the form of U, passing a left and a right half parts 2a and 2a through a passing and engaging member 4, forming a loop-shaped part 7 and respectively tying ring-shaped bodies 5 to both ends of the half parts 2a and 2b. The loop-shaped part 7 is passed through a neck of the pet and the respective half parts 2a passing and crossing with the passing and engaging member 4 are passed between the forearms and then brought into contact with the sides of the body part at the rear of the forearms. Both the left and the right half parts 2a and 2a are passed through a passing hole 6 provided in the intermediate part of the beltlike body 2.
