PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient fluid purifier having the small volume, extremely reducing electric power consumption, causing no adverse influence on the human body and an environment, and arrangeable even in liquid. SOLUTION: A light emitting part having a light emitting diode and a light receiving part having a photocatalytic substance and a transparent base material are oppositely arranged in this fluid purifier, catalytic activity is generated in the photocatalytic substance of a light receiving member by the light reaching the photocatalytic substance by passing through the transparent base material by being radiated from the light emitting diode, and an impurity in fluid contacting with the photocatalytic substance of the light receiving member is oxidized and decomposed by the catalytic activity of the photocatalytic substance to purify the fluid. |
