PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ligament loading device which is compatible with MRI and is capable of tightly fixing a knee for video diagnosis. SOLUTION: The ligament loading device is used in conjunction with an MRI system for the video diagnosis of the damaged ligament of the knee. The leg of a patient is fixed to a thigh harness (70) and a lower leg harness (74) with the thigh placed on the turning point (72) of the video diagnosis area of an image pickup device. Though the thigh harness (70) is fixed, the lower leg harness (74) is rotated with the turning point (72) as a center to select the angle of the leg. Pressurizing means (84a and 84b) such as air bags or bellows apply pressure in a single direction across the thigh. Pressurizing means (100a and 100b) apply pressure in an opposite direction across the thigh to the lower leg part so as to pull the bone of a knee away so as to facilitate the video diagnosis of the ligament. When using this device in conjunction with the MRI system, it is also possible to examine and measure the movement of a bone.
