PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio tag for moving body identification which can easily be connected to an antenna even when an IC chip is very small. SOLUTION: A slot antenna 10 is provided with a slot 12 in the center of a rectangular conductor plate 11 along the length. The conductor plate 11 has its width D and length L set so that D<L<=λo/2 is formed and the slot 12 is much shorter than the wavelength of a received radio wave. The IC chip 13 is mounted at a position 15 shifting sideward from the center of the slot 12, the slot width at the IC chip mounting position 15 is set much narrower than the intervals of signal input terminals of the IC chip 13, and the signal input terminals of the IC chip 13 are fixed to the conductor plate 11 by soldering, etc. The impedance of the slot antenna 10 decreases from the center of the slot 12 to the ends, so the IC chip mounting position 15 is set where the slot 12 and IC chip 13 have impedance matching. |
