PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized lightweight personal digital assistance the lightness of display of which is bright in a mount state on a cradle in excess of the lightness of a light source built in the personal digital assistance. SOLUTION: A light guide plate 3 is placed on a rear side of a liquid crystal display device 2 of the personal digital assistance, a linear light source 4 is placed on an upper end of the light guide plate 3 and a light intake 5 to receive external light and to emit it to a lower end of the light guide plate 3 is provided to a bottom of a case 1. Thus, when the personal digital assistance is used in a vehicle or the like and the personal digital assistance is mounted on the cradle with a light source, since the light intake 5 can receive external light, the display is made brighter in excess of a limit of the lightness of the built-in light source 4.
