PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-contained type stress measurement device using a piezoelectric material for detecting strain in a structural body for easily carrying out installation and measurement work of the stress measurement device, capable of performing measurement without approaching the structural body, and capable of measuring a fluctuating stress history working on the structural body for at least several days. SOLUTION: This stress measurement device for the structure body 10 is provided with a strain detector 2 using the piezoelectric material for detecting strain in the structural body, a computing device 12 computing the fluctuating stress history working on the structural body from an output signal of the strain detector 2, an optical signal transmitter 4 transmitting the computing result of the computing device 12 as an optical signal to the outside, and an independent power source 17 feeding electric power to the strain detector 2, the computing device 12, and the optical signal transmitter 4. |
