PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set drive parameters suitable for driving a target by finely defining motor drive parameters other than inertia after identifying the inertia. SOLUTION: This parameter setting device comprises, in a personal computer body 10, an operator 1 for decoding the operation input of an operation input device 3, two parameter computing parts 13, 14 for performing parameter adjustment computation, a communication part 18 for exchanging data with a motor amplifier 20, a parameter operator 16 for exchanging parameter values with an operation part 11 or the parameter computation parts 13, 14 and parameter values with a motor amplifier 20, a parameter database 15 having the parameter information of the motor amplifier 20, a driving data reading part 17 for referring to the driving data of a motor 6 from the motor amplifier 20, and a display 12 for displaying required information such as parameter setting work and driving conditions. |
