The present invention provides compositions for the prevention or treatement of an autoimmune disorder or an inflammatory disorder in a subject comprising one or more CD2 antagonists. In particular, the invention provide methods for preventing or treating an autoimmune disorder or an inflammatory disorder in a subject comprising administering one or more CD2 binding molecules to said subject. The present invention provides doses of CD2 binding molecules and methods of administration that result in improved efficacy, while avoiding or reducing the adverse or unwanted side effects associated with the administration of an agent that induces the depletion of peripheral blood lymphocytes. |
