PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a good quality image by solving a problem peculiar to a scanning system in the cathode-ray tube of a dual electron gun system. SOLUTION: A frame synchronizer 70 relatively delays and outputs a video signal for either split screen to the other side. Thereby, a total of beam currents given to a fluorescent substance at the same pixel position per unit time prevents the generation of a relative difference in the scanning time of each electron beam to scan each split screen so that the limit of the brightness saturation of the fluorescent substance is not exceeded. Thereby, the problem of the brightness lowering caused by the brightness saturation of the fluorescent substance is solved and the good image display is obtained in the scanning system in which a field (or frame) scanning direction is reversed in a right and a left split screens with each other. |
