PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, eliminating the state that a recording sheet is carried while it is excessively being pulled or relieved between the transfer position of a toner image and a fixing unit, adjusting the carrying state of the recording sheet between the transfer position of the toner image and the fixing unit, and hence capable of preventing the deterioration of the quality of an toner image after the transfer. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with an image carrier turning while carrying a formed toner image, a transfer roll passing the recording sheet between the image carrier and the transfer roll itself and also transferring the toner image to the recording sheet, and a fixing means receiving the tip of the recording sheet while the toner image is being transferred and then fixing the toner image to the recording sheet. Further, the image forming device is provided with a means grasping the transfer speed of the recording sheet passing the transfer roll and a means optimizing the discharging speed of the recording sheet in the fixing means, based on the grasped transfer speed. |
