<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system that provides position information only to a person legitimately permitted by a provider of position information. SOLUTION: The position information providing system where a server acquires position information of a mobile terminal of a user and provides the acquired position information to another user, is configured such that an electronic mail address of the provider, an electronic mail address of a person receiving the provision of position information, a means that transmits a unique identifier of the mobile terminal, and a password are shared in common by the provider, the person receiving the position information and the server so as to provide the position information only to the person legitimately permitted by the provider of position information.</p> |
