PRINTING CONTROL INTERFACE SYSTEM AND METHOD HAVING HANDWRITING DISCRIMINATION CAPABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for identifying and separating a handwritten text from a machine printed text in a document including a mixture the handwritten text and the machine printed text. SOLUTION: As for one embodiment, it is possible to perform selective processing for removing any handwritten text from an optional document installed as an intelligent printing control interface in a normal computer and generated by an optional application under control by a user in advance of printing the document. As for another embodiment, it is possible to perform selective processing for removing any handwritten text from the any document in the middle of being copied which is installed as an intelligent printing control interface in a normal digital copy machine and is in the middle of being copied under control by the user in advance of printing the document. A handwriting separation method using hidden Marko models as the handwritten text or the machine printed text is adopted.
