METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE OF SPACE SWITCH IN TIME DIVISION FULL ELECTRONIC EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for measuring the performance of a space switch in a time division full electronic exchange are provided to measure a performance about the space switch according to a sub-system, output the measured result, and offer information about the performance of the space switch to operators which operate the time division full electronic exchange. CONSTITUTION: An MSLC(Measurement System Library on Call)(15b) is loaded in an ASP(Access Switching Processor) for counting the number of occupation attempt, occupation, and failure of a space switch. An INMH(35a) is loaded in an INS(Interconnection Network System) for storing availability data about each ASP. A CSL(Call Sequence Library block) is loaded in the ASP for storing information about an origination/termination ASP and total occupation time information about the space switch. An MSDP(120a) is loaded in an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) for requesting an association ASP to gather data corresponding the performance measurement of the space switch when an MMC(Man Machine Communication) command according to the performance measurement of the space switch is inputted, and processing the MMC command as an output format when a response as to the request is received. An MDGC(Measurement Data Gathering on Call block)(15a) is loaded in the ASP for gathering various counter values, the availability data, information about the origination/termination ASP, and total occupation time information stored in the MSLC(15b), the INMH(35a), and the CSL(15c) when the gathering of data is requested from the MSDP(120a), and transmitting the gathered data to the MSDP(120a).
