PURPOSE: A transformer and a control apparatus are provided to improve the convenience of maintenance and repair by detecting the status change of the transformer to perform a remote control. CONSTITUTION: A database(20) stores control information, an alarm signal, and a message. An information input unit(30) inputs an instruction signal related to an inquiry and a control output. A sensing information input unit(40) inputs information for authenticating an user. A display unit(50) displays information related to the status of a transformer, the instruction information, and the authentication information. An output unit(60) outputs the display information through a screen and a speaker. An authentication signal modulation/demodulation unit(70) modulates an authentication request signal and demodulates an authentication result signal. A communication unit(80) transmits an instruction signal, a control signal, and the authentication request signal to a corresponding system and receives a signal therefrom. A processing unit(90) processes the information and signal stored on the database(20). A controller(100) controls the operations of the database(20) and the units(30,40,50,60,70,80,90).
