<p>Disclosed is a data processing device comprising a microprocessor, a display screen and a memory in which is stored a browser program executable by the microprocessor to request data in a known data format from a server program, to interpret and render the data and generate therefrom signals suitable for display in the display screen, wherein a graphic user interface is stored in the memory in the known data format, together with a local server program, which is executable by the microprocessor to transmit data, including the graphic user interface, in known data format from the memory to the browser program in response to requests from the browser program.</p> |
