The brake amplifier (10) has a housing (12) enclosing a hollow space provided with 2 successive brake amplification units (14,16), each having a reduced pressure chamber (20,22), separated from a working chamber (28,30) by a movable wall (24,26). A number of clamp bolts (40) fit through the housing in the longiudinal direction, each having an active axial length adjusted via a setting nut (44), at least one bolt enclosed by a coaxial sleeve (50), formed integral with the setting nut, for providing a fluid connection between the working chambers.
