PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of inside cracks to a vibration absorbing material, and the generation of damages such as breaking and bending or the like to each part even when shocking vibration is applied to a floor in a floor pier foundation. SOLUTION: In the floor pier foundation, the vibration absorbing material 8 is provided to an intermediate part in the height direction, and upper and lower compression limiting pieces 18 and 22, which can be brought into contact with each other when vertical compression of the vibration absorbing material 8 reaches a prescribed amount, are provided. In the upper or the lower compression limiting piece 18 or 22 either one of them is formed into a plate shape in which the vibration absorbing material 8 is arranged to the central part, and the other is formed into a cover shape which has a peripheral wall 22a which is a circular shape in a plane view surrounding the vibration absorbing material 8 concentrically.
