PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser recording heat-sensitive recording medium having excellent laser recording suitability, scanner readability, drum applicability, writability and scuff resistance. SOLUTION: The laser recording heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer containing an optical absorption material for absorbing at least a laser beam to convert the beam into a heat, an electron donative leuco dye and an electron acceptive developer on a support. The recording medium further comprises an overcoating layer containing a loading material and a binder as main components on the recording layer, and a back coating layer containing a loading material and a binder as main components on a rear surface of the support. |
