PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the surface potential of a photoreceptor constant with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The contact type electrifying device 2 is provided with the electrifying roller 21 as an electrifying member which comes into contact with the photoreceptor 20, and a power supply circuit 26 which applies a direct current constant voltage to the electrifying roller 21. The contact type electrifying device 2 is further provided with a resistor 24 at the side of the electrifying roller 21 of the power supply circuit 26, and a capacitor 25 which connects the resistor 24 and the electrifying roller 21 as well as the ground. |
