摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of exactly setting a target levitating position without receiving an influence of a friction resistance caused by a weight of a rotating body. SOLUTION: In the magnetic bearing device, the rotating body 5 is non- contact supported in the axial control shaft direction and two radial control shaft directions by a plurality of pairs of electro-magnets 26a, 26b, 27a, 27b, 27c, 27d, 28a, 28b, 28c, 28d and are magnetically levitated and a movable range in the three control shaft directions of the rotating body 5 is restricted by protection bearings 11, 12. A target levitating position of the rotating body 5 is set. Firstly, the target levitating position in the control shaft direction closest to the vertical direction is determined and the rotating body 5 is magnetically levitated to the target levitating position in the control shaft direction. Next, the target levitating position in one control shaft direction of the two remainders is determined and the rotating body 5 is magnetically levitated to the control shaft direction. Finally, the target levitating position of the remained control shaft direction is determined and the rotating body 5 is magnetically levitated to the target levitating position of the control shaft direction.</p>
