PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing method which can obtain the stabilized entering amount of seal and can suppress the generation of cracking of the seal. SOLUTION: This enclosing method of liquid crystal panel has the pressing step which presses a liquid crystal panel (primary press) and squeezes liquid crystal out of a seal part of the liquid crystal panel, the application step which applies seal material to the seal part in the state of decreasing the pressure which is applied to the liquid crystal panel (secondary press), the pressure releasing step which releases the pressure to the liquid crystal panel and returns the same to normal pressure and the curing step which cures the seal material. The pressure of the secondary press is reduced to be one half or less of the primary press. Further, in the pressure releasing step, the pressure to the liquid crystal panel is reduced stepwise. In addition, in the curing step, a waiting time is provided until the curing is started after the liquid crystal panel returns to the normal pressure.
