PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape unit which suppresses the charge of static electricity, generated due to the friction of the content with a cover tape when the cover tape is peeled. SOLUTION: The carrier tape unit comprises an embossed tape having a continuum of pockets for housing electronic components, which is sealed with a cover tape. The carrier tape unit is constituted such that the amount of electrification of peeling the cover tape when the cover tape is peeled at a peeling angle of 170 to 180 degrees and by 112 mm at a peeling rate of 300 mm/min is -9 to +9 nC in the case of the cover tape with a surface resistance value of 10<11>Ωor higher and -3 to +3 nC in the case of the cover tape with a surface resistance value less than 10<11>Ω. |
