<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which uses a belt-like heat transfer medium, satisfies the low-temperature fixing, hot offset resistance and thermal preservation resistance for energy saving and satisfies the brightness performance in color toners and the transparent in an OHP. SOLUTION: The image forming method using a fixing method of heat fixing the toner image on a recording medium by heating elements, >=1 heat transfer media heated by these heating elements and a pressurizing member for bringing the recording medium into contact with one of the heat transfer media, in which at least one of the heat transfer media is the belt-like heat transfer medium. The method of fixing the toners containing binder resins, in which the toners are the dry process toners obtained by dissolving or dispersing a prepolymer consisting of a denatured polyester resin, a compound to be extended and/or crosslinked with this prepolymer and toner composition components into an organic solvent, bringing the solution or dispersion thereof into crosslinking reaction and/or extension reaction in an aqueous medium and removing the solvent from the resultant dispersion.</p> |
