PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety structure of a metal cap, preventing an injury caused by a sharp broken portion of a ring remained at the container side. SOLUTION: The metal cap 1 is provided with a cylindrical part 3 for screw, which is equipped with a screw part which is threadably fitted to the screw part of a container, an easily breakable portion 6 connected to the lower part of the cylindrical part 3 for screw and broken when opening the cap, and the rest of the ring 5 at the container side, which is connected to the easily breakable portion 6. A part extending from the lower part of the cylindrical part 3 for screw to the ring 5 is folded two times in a way that the outer peripheral surface side of the upper part of the ring 5 covers the outer peripheral surface side of the lower part of the cylindrical part 3 for screw. A first folding part 11 and a second folding part 12, which have folding directions opposed to each other, form a superposed part 10. When the easily breakable portion 6 is made to be the superposed part except the one which is the outermost peripheral part, the easily breakable portion 6 is formed above the first folding part and below the second folding part.
