PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocker lift of a sunlight blocking device capable of preventing lift cords from sagging when raising or lowering a bottom rail and an intermediate rail. SOLUTION: In the sunlight blocking device, a bottom rail 5 and an intermediate rail 3 are suspended and supported from a head box 1 via lift cords 6a and 6b, an upper blocker 2 is disposed between the head box 1 and the intermediate rail 3, a lower blocker 4 is disposed between the intermediate rail 3 and the bottom rail 5, and the lift cords 6a and 6b are operated using operating devices 7a, 7b, 10 and 11 to enable the bottom rail 5 and the intermediate rail 3 to be raised and lowered. The lift cords 6a and 6b are guided from the head box 1 to the intermediate rail 3, wound around the intermediate rail 3, then guided to and wound around the head box 1, and connected to the bottom rail 5.
