PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an alignment part for a molding for an automobile which prevents rainwater and the like on a roof from standing at a rear end of a protector. SOLUTION: Since a side end 16 of the protector 14 is inclined at an angle ofθ1, rainwater W1, W2 is led between the protector 14 and side wall parts 7, 8, drops below a side molding 10 from a backlash S formed in the space, and is drained along the side wall part 8. Therefore, the rainwater W1, W2 on the roof 1 is prevented from standing at the rear end 15 of the protector 14 and flowing down on a side window side.
