PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-storing device which is high in heat storage density and excellent in efficiency at ice making. SOLUTION: The heat-storing device is provided with a heat storage tank 1 to store water for heat storage; and a heat exchanger 2 situated at the bottom of the heat storage tank 1 and producing plate-form ice B in approximately the same shape as that of the horizontal cross section. After ice in a given thickness is made at the ice making part of the ice of the heat exchanger 2, ice-melting is conducted and ice is released to the heat storage tank 1 and through the repetition of the action described, ice B is stored. As a result of this constitution, since the ice B in a small thickness of approximately the same shape as that of the horizontal cross section of the heat storage tank 1 results and can laminate the ice orderly and therefore suppresses a gap between two pieces of the ice B to a minimum limit, can suppress lowering of the efficiency due to growth of the ice B; and this enables storage of ice heat in high heat storage density and with high efficiency. |
