PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes a long time to assemble a slanted connector and the connection loss of the assembled slanted connector is large. SOLUTION: The tip plane of this optical connector ferrule into which an optical fiber inserting hole penetrates is constituted of a vertical plane and a slanted plane or two or more stepped vertical planes. In this optical connector, a joining end face is formed by inserting an optical fiber into the ferrule for the optical connector, fixing the optical fiber to the ferrule and grinding both of a part of the ferrule tip surface and the end face of the optical fiber aslant.
