PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush by which bristles constituting projected parts of a toothbrush in which the apex is made to be an uneven face are effectively prevented from being too largely bent and the deepest parts of interdental parts which are hardly cleaned and are sites where caries are often generated can be well cleaned and which provides excellent natural feeling of cleaning and natural feeling of insertion into gaps in an oral cavity. SOLUTION: In this toothbrush 10 in which a plurality of tufts 12 of bristles consisting of a plurality of the bristles 11 are planted on a block head 14, by providing a plurality of projected parts 16 in the longitudinal direction X of the toothbrush 10 at definite intervals, projected parts of these projected parts 16 and recessed parts with valley parts 17 between the projected parts 16 are continuously formed. In addition, the tufts 12 of the bristles are each planted so as to extend over the projected part 16 and the recessed parts 17 and a face formed by connecting the top ends of the bristles 11 in the longitudinal direction X is made into an uneven top face 19.
