PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool for an electric vacuum cleaner provided with a silent and highly strong agitator and the electric vacuum cleaner using it. SOLUTION: A freely rotatable agitator 6 is provided inside, the agitator 6 is constituted of a rotor (9, 10) and a dust rake-up part 11 provided in the rotor (9, 10) and the rotor (9, 10) is constituted of the outer shaft 9 of a synthetic resin molding and a metallic inner shaft 10 passing through the rotation center of the outer shaft 9. Sufficient strength is secured even when the entire length of the agitator 6 increases and vibration sound generated at the time of rotation is reduced since even a warp by molding is corrected by the metallic inner shaft 10.
