PORTABLE DRILLING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A portable drilling machine is provided to improve the precision of drilling work by installing a guide device for guiding a drill to be moved up and down and to save raw material with reducing weight of the portable drilling machine. CONSTITUTION: A portable drilling machine includes a drill cutter(11) for perforating a hole in an object. The drill cutter(11) is coupled with a holder(13). A motor(12) is provided to rotate the drill cutter(11) as power is applied thereto. A lifting plate(21) is fixed to one side of the holder(13) by means of a bolt. A supporting plate(22) is fixed to the other side of the lifting plate(21). A rack(23) is fixedly formed in the supporting plate(22). A magnetic member(40) is formed at a bottom of the portable drilling machine. A casing(60) is positioned above the magnetic member(40). The casing(60) has a sidewall(41) and a handle(50) rotatably coupled to the sidewall(41). A pinion meshed with the rack(23) is installed in the sidewall. When the pinion rotates, the rack(23) is moved so that the lifting plate(21) moves up and down.
