PURPOSE: To make selectable a gradation voltage having a large number of bits within a limited space. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with pixels arranged in a matrix manner, a means which selects one of pixel groups that are arranged in parallel in one direction, a means which supplies video signals to respective pixels of the pixel groups in accordance with the selection, a transfer data computing section which generates data signals with a clock timing corresponding to gradations from n bit information indicating the gradations and a gradation voltage selecting circuit section which selects voltage signals corresponding to all gradations with the clock timing and makes the selected voltage signals the video signals.
