PURPOSE: Provided are feed additive compositions for animals comprising polyethoxylated alpha tocopherol ester derivatives as an active ingredient, thereby increasing the weight of animals and providing vitamin E to them. CONSTITUTION: The polyethoxylated alpha tocopherol ester derivative is represented by the formula(1), wherein R is CH3OCH2CH2(OCH2CH2)n, in which n is an integer of 2-400. The feed additive composition contains the polyethoxylated alpha tocopherol ester derivative selected from the group consisting of DL-alpha-tocopheryl-¥ø-methyl polyethyleneglycoryl-succinate(n=6), DL-alpha-tocopheryl-¥ø-methyl polyethyleneglycoryl-succinate(n=11) and DL-alpha-tocopheryl-¥ø-methyl polyethyleneglycoryl-succinate(n=44). |
