PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment equipped with a slot for mounting a memory card freely attachably and detachably on the exterior face of the equipment main body, and to provide the mounting structure of a protecting cover capable of validly protecting the memory card from any impact due to its collision to be generated when a part of the memory card mounted in the slot is projected to the outside or static electricity. SOLUTION: This exterior structure of electronic equipment equipped with a slot 3 for mounting a memory card 4 on an exterior face 2 is provided with a protecting cover 11 to be mounted on the exterior face so as to be freely attachable and detachable so that the projecting part of the memory card inserted into the slot can be surrounded. The protecting cover is provided with a box-shaped cover main body 12 whose one face is opened and attaching/ detaching means 13 and 14 formed in at last two parts of the opening peripheral part of the cover main body. One attaching and detaching means is constituted as a hooking piece to be restrained to a restraint hole 21 formed on the armor face, and the other attaching and detaching means is constituted as a snap fit piece to be elastically restrained in a restraint hole 22 formed on the exterior face. |
