PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a directional coupler that has a sufficient degree of coupling in a desired frequency band and a small size. SOLUTION: On a dielectric substrate 1, continuous raised sections 101 and 102 for transmission, having a prescribed width are formed in parallel with each other and a raised section 103 which units parts of the sections 101 and 102 in one body is formed into a prescribed width over a prescribed length. On both surfaces of the substrate 1, upper- and lower-surface electrodes 2 and 3 are respectively formed, including the side faces of the sections 101-103. On the sides of the sections 101-103, in addition, plural through-holes 4, through which the electrodes 2 and 3 are electrically connected to each other are respectively formed in lines. |
