PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesivity between an electrode plate and a polymer PTC composition as well as PTC characteristic, in a polymer PTC element having a structure such that electrodes plates are adhered to both surfaces of a sheet made of polymer PTC composition, where a conductive filler is dispersed in crystalline polymer. SOLUTION: An ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer having superior adhesivity to metal, is used as a part of crystalline polymer, and a metal carbide having less aggregation than a conductive filler conventionally used carbon black. Larger amount of titanium carbide is used as a metallic carbide, thereby the PTC characteristics are further improved. In addition, epoxy resin is added as a crosslinking agent, to further improve both the adhesivity and PTC characteristics.
