DIAGONAL HEAT TRANSFER TUBE SUPPORTING EGGCRATE FOR NUCLEAR STEAM GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A diagonal heat transfer tube supporting eggcrate for a nuclear steam generator is provided to reduce wear and damage of heat transfer tube by reducing contact load and vibration amplitude between the heat transfer tube and structure. CONSTITUTION: A first diagonal support strip group formed of a plurality of support strips is installed inclined in the space formed between the vertical straight portion of a heat transfer tube, in such a manner that lower straight portions of square C-shaped flexion shift portion of the heat transfer tube are connected with each other and supported. A second diagonal support strip group formed of a plurality of support strips and which has an angle of 60 degrees with respect to the first diagonal support strip groups, is installed in such a manner that the second diagonal support strip group and the second diagonal support strip group cross with each other. The crossing portions between the two groups are assembled with each other through slots formed at each side surface of each strip. Thus, four points of circumference of the lower straight portion of square C-shaped flexion shift portion of the heat transfer tube are supported by a diamond-shaped grid surface formed by first and second diagonal support strip groups.
