PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve automation by eliminating a series of work for an inspector to search and inspect a best focus position by manually turning a distance ring when deciding and inspecting a focus in the case of auto-focus follow-up in a production process for a video camera with auto-focus function. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an inspecting device part 15, in which a dummy object (chart 2) and a light source 3 for illumination are incorporated, and a means (such as personal computer control part 11 and a stage 12, for example), for controlling the movement of the position of the dummy object on the basis of a signal from a control part 7 built in a video camera 14 to be measured, each of distances to the object is spriously prepared inside the inspecting device part, and the best focus position for each of distances is inspected by moving the position of the dummy object. |
