<p>A call center (100) for handling call for speech and hearing impaired subscribers. The call center (100) includes a plurality of terminals (110-111) connected to a switching system (101) to handle calls. Each of said plurality of terminals (110-111) includes a computer system (112) that handles video calls from the speech and hearing impaired subscribers and a telephone station (113) that handles voice calls to parties communicating with the speech and hearing impaired subscribers. A call controller (120) connected to the switching system (101) and the plurality of terminals (110-111) determines which of the plurality of terminals (110-111) handles an incoming call.</p> |
