<p>A drinking fluid dispenser (24) includes a bottle (4) disposed on a dispenser base (20) . Mounted inside the bottle (4) is a valve (10) proximally connected to a float (12) by an actuating arm (14) . The valve (10) is positioned above the fluid (52) inside the bottle (4) and is connected to a continuous-flow fluid source. During normal operation, the float (12) which buoyantly floats on fluid (52),closes and opens the valve, respectively, when the surface level (50) of the fluid (52) rises and falls inside the bottle (4). There is also a pressure vent (18) with an orifice disposed through the bottle (4) and above the bottle fluid (52 to maintain atmospheric pressure inside the bottle (4).</p> |
