PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting construction for a fence end portion capable of assuring up and down motion of the fence over a long period of time and offering excellent durability. SOLUTION: This construction supporting the fence end portion has a guide rail attached to a revetment or a pile or the like erected from the bottom of water to the portion above the water surface with a slider arranged to an end holding fittings at the end portion of a float and the slide is arranged to the guide rail in a freely slidable manner, and the end portion holding fittings and the slider are connected together with a flexible member as the feature of this supporting construction.
