PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-off prevention implement for preventing the fall-off of an approximately 'U-shaped' metal fixture to be fitted to a flange of a shape steel. SOLUTION: In the cases where the flange 2 is tapered and becomes gradually thinner in the direction of the tip part 2a in the width direction or without the taper, the flange 2 faces downward or inclines downward, the metal fixture 10 is attached to the flange 2 by jointly using this metal fixture fall-off prevention implement. Then, even if a force is applied to the metal fixture 10 so as to deviate it in the direction of the tip part 2a of the flange 2, the shaft part 16a of a bolt 16 contacts with the edge of an insertion hole 24 of a fold part 25 of the post-fitting metal fall-off prevention implement 20. Though a force is also applied to the metal fixture 10 to deviate it in the side of the tip part 2a of the flange 2, the engagement part of the metal fixture 10 is engaged with the other end face (vertical part 7) of the flange, so that the metal fixture fall-off preventing implement 20 is prevented from being deviated in the side of the tip part 2a of the flange 2 or from detached and fallen therefrom. |
