<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly save the trouble and time for measurement with an isotope gas-measuring apparatus utilized in an exhalation-inspecting apparatus for inspecting the presence/absence of pylori bacilli. SOLUTION: A sample cell 16c with a band pass filter 17c is set. The band pass filter 17c selects a wavelength which is different from absorption wavelengths of<12> CO2 and<13> CO2 and is not absorbed by the other substances (wavelength slightly shorter than the absorption wavelength of<12> CO2 by way of an example). A detection signal S3 obtained by receiving light which has passed a sample gas circulating in the sample cell 16c is made a reference when absorbances of the<12> CO2 and<13> CO2 are to be measured. Accordingly, measuring a reference gas for obtaining the reference which is carried out conventionally is eliminated. The need for switching operation between the reference gas and the sample gas is eliminated, so that the measurement can be simplified greatly.</p> |
