PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridging breaker for a hopper capable of simply and correctly fixing a stay for supporting a shaker to a predetermined position in a hopper in a short period of time and using an inexpensive stay made of a metal or a carbon steel without having relation to the material for a wall body of the hopper. SOLUTION: The bridging breaker 1 for a hopper is composed of a metal screen 5 disposed inside a hopper 2 and supported on a wall body 3 of the hopper 2 with the aid of plural pieces of elastic members 4, and a shaker 8 connected to the metal screen 5 and elastically supported by the hopper 2 with the aid of a stay 15. In this bridging breaker 1, the stay 15 is fixed with bolts 11 to the wall body 3 of the hopper 2 by sandwiching the elastic member 4, which is provided at one place at the central part on the underside of the metal screen 5 between the stay 15 and the metal screen 5.
