PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a solid high polymer electrolytic membrane deteriorated by a Si or heavy metal ions. SOLUTION: The method for producing electrolytic ozone water uses an electrolytic ozone water generator (2) in which the anode electrode (4) and the cathode electrode (6) are arranged with the solid high polymer electrolytic membrane interposed, both electrodes (4, 6) are connected to a d.c. power source. Water is passed through a channel (2a) on the anode side and a channel (2b) on the cathode side to electrolyze the water, respectively and ozone water is generated on the side of the anode. In this method, soft water is fed to the channels (2a, 2b) on both electrode sides, respectively and ozone water is produced. Further, when the solid high polymer electrolytic membrane (5) is deteriorated by one or more kinds selected from dissolved silica or heavy metal ions contained in the soft water, a solution selected from hard water, an aqueous solution of acetone or alcohol and hot water of >=70 deg.C is fed to the electrolytic ozone water generator (2), and the regeneration of the solid high polymer electrolytic membrane (5) is performed. |
