<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid golf ball which has a good feeling of striking the ball and, in addition, exhibits excellent repulsion performance and flying performance even in striking the ball at a low head speed. SOLUTION: In the solid golf ball composed of a core of one or more layers and a cover of one or more layers formed by covering the core, at least one layer of the core is obtained by subjecting a rubber composition comprising (a) a base rubber, (b) a covulcanizer, (c) an organic peroxide, (d) barium sulfate, and (e) a fluorine-substituted phenyl sulfide compound to be represented by the formula (wherein at least one of R<1> to R<5> and at least one of R<6> to R<10> each F; and n is an integer of >=1) to vulcanization molding.</p> |
