PURPOSE: A real-time underwater monitoring system based on the computer cluster and an open computer network is provided to process the data collected from the geographically dispersed regions by a central computer cluster in the real-time and to offer the data as a desired format to a user. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a plurality of hydrophone arrays(100) installed to the strategically important positions on a nationwide coast, an input server(200) collecting the data from the hydrophone arrays in the real-time, a process server(300) receiving and analyzing the data from the input servers, and a user interface(400) providing the database as the desired format to the user. The input server receives a signal from the hydrophones installed to the sea-bottom of the nationwide coast. The signal is amplified by an amplifier and only the desired signal is detected by a filter. The detected signal is reached to the input server after being quantized by a digital/analog converter. |
