PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition which has a high dielectric constant and a high Q value, satisfies COG temperature characteristics in European Industrial Standards, and is burnable at a low temperature of 900 deg.C. SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic is obtained by adding, by weight, 6 to 13% ZnO-SiO2 -BaO, 3 to 13.5% B2 O3 , 0.5 to 3% CuO and 0.5 to 3% B2 O3 to a (BaNdSmMn)TiO3 ceramic composition. Then, the above ZuO-SiO2 -BaO preferably lie in the ranges consisting of, by weight, 50%:30%:20% (point A), 30%: 50%:20% (point B), 20%:30%:50% (point C), and 45%:20%:35% (point D) in the ternary diagram of ZnO-SiO2 -BaO. |
