PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved constant velocity joint. SOLUTION: With respect to a barrier used in the constant velocity joint, the constant velocity joint includes lubricant inside of an outer lace, and a boot fixed to a boot cover. The barrier includes a shield, and the shield is brought into contact with the outer lace and the boot cover. The shield is provided with a body usually having a cup-shaped cross section, and an annular flange extended from the body. The shield provides the barrier between the boot of the constant velocity joint and the thermal and grease lubricant. |
