STRUCTURE FOR OPERATING KNOB OF OVERHEAD CONSOLE LAMP

PURPOSE: Structure for operating a knob of an overhead console lamp is provided to remove the tickling noise of a knob in operation by settling a round protrusion of the knob with an elastic clip through sliding and to cut down the prime cost by removing a steel ball and a spring. CONSTITUTION: A knob slides on a lamp body(12) with a holder(13). The position of the knob is determined by a position control unit. According to the selective position of the knob, PCB(Printed Circuit Board) contacts of a PCB are connected with a holder contact of the holder(13). The position control unit includes an elastic clip(20) formed on the sidewall of the lamp body and a round protrusion(21) settling with the clip by sliding. The round protrusion is naturally placed in a protrusion placing portion(22) of the elastic clip. Therefore, noise due to the operation of the knob is prevented.
